Negar Farhang Doost
Negar received her bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences from Iran in 2020. She joined the MESA lab as a Ph.D. student in biomedical engineering in the summer of 2022. Her research focuses on developing diagnostic tools for tick-borne infections and Candida auris. In addition to her Ph.D., Negar is also pursuing a certificate in university teaching. She is passionate about mentoring and teaching undergraduate students and is currently guiding two capstone projects.
